Keeping the FAITH alive!

March 16, 2024

St. Pius X Classical Academy

At St. Pius X, we are always trying to make our community feel loved, with Christ at our center. We have many new and old exciting things happening on our campus!

Something new to 2024 is our PreK-8th grade chess club! We are so excited to be partnering with “The Knight School” to make this happen for our students. We offer two sections, one designed specifically for PreK, with the other for our K-8 students. This is a perfect addition to our classical model!

In art class, our students get the chance to dive deep into their joys and passions. In this shot, our kindergarten class was learning about love and kindness during religion. To finish up their lesson, they made stained glass rainbows to remind them of God’s love.

Stations of the Cross is offered every Friday during the season of Lent. This has been a long-standing tradition at St. Pius X! Our hard-working altar servers rotate each week to help keep us on our journey to the cross. It is a beautiful tradition we want to keep alive! Our students also have mini books to follow along while our student council takes us on the journey.

Each year during Lent, we hold a Fish Fry to raise money for our school as well as make it easier on our parishioners to eat fish on Friday! This year our Fish Fry was paired with an alumni basketball game event. Our cheerleaders came out to keep the energy going. In this picture, you will see one of our cheerleaders purchasing her own food ticket using her finance and money skills!

Finally, we love having visitors come on campus to share their passions and joys. Last week, we were honored with having our very own alumna, Miss Sara visit our school. She shared her love of reading with our PreK through 4th grade students. They read, laughed, and took a literary adventure together!

We are always trying to bring more educational opportunities to St. Pius X and this year has already been filled with so many blessings! God is good. All the time!
