With the beautiful Fall season upon us, our Sapa Un Catholic Academy (K-8) students have graced our campus with the energy and motivation as they begin a new academic year.

The weekend of the gala is filled with fond gatherings of supporters to the school, and the finishing up of the final logistics of the event.

Several members of the Diocese of Raleigh including representation from the youth and a young adult community attended the 2022 Archbishop James P. Lyke Conference.

Sunday, April 24, Bishop Robert Marshall celebrated Mass at St. James Memorial Church in Alexandria on Divine Mercy Sunday. He also celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation with five of their young parishioners.

St. Richard Church participated in the Season of Service and performed community service.

The term Habari Gani is swahili for "What's the News." This is also the name for the Black Catholic high school retreat that has been taking place in the Archdiocese of New Orleans since 2008.

Through extensive fundraisers and planning, our new Church is completed, except for the landscaping. Now comes the work of rebuilding “The Church” and the people.

School is of to a great start at St. George Catholic School. This year we have expanded our Religion program to include Catechesis of the Good Shephard.

A group of Diocese employees traveled to Alexandria, La for the 83rd Annual Tekakwitha Conference. The Tekakwitha Conference is the voice, presence, and identity of Indigenous Catholics of North America under the protection of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha.
