Indian Mission

St. Anthony Indian Mission is rapidly approaching its centenary of existence on the Zuni Pueblo.

The parishioners of Saint Joseph, have been praising God for the reopening of their Laguna Pueblo after the long effects of the Covid 19 Pandemic.

A group of Diocese employees traveled to Alexandria, La for the 83rd Annual Tekakwitha Conference. The Tekakwitha Conference is the voice, presence, and identity of Indigenous Catholics of North America under the protection of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha.

School is of to a great start at St. George Catholic School. This year we have expanded our Religion program to include Catechesis of the Good Shephard.

Through extensive fundraisers and planning, our new Church is completed, except for the landscaping. Now comes the work of rebuilding “The Church” and the people.

Kateri Northwest Ministry Institute hosted a retreat at the Immaculate Heart Retreat Center in Spokane, WA, in collaboration with the Native Wellness Institute.
