The Dioceses of Birmingham every year around the springtime host an annual retreat for the youth called Kujenga.

Sr. Roselyn tells Indigenous stories every month at the local catholic grade school which includes St. Mary’s students as well as the Ashland, Wi community.

At Saint James Catholic School we started the eighth-grade students' farewell. We began celebrating their success with an award ceremony dinner, where they shared their gratitude and achievements with their proud parents and school staff.

The diocese completed cultural acclimation with several of its new mission priests and was able to permanently assign them to parishes in rural Alaska.

Black Catholic Mission | 

The Diocese of Buffalo African American Commission follow-up meeting on National Black Catholic Congress XIII was held on May 10, 2024 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Buffalo, NY. Congress XIII participants shared their awesome experience and ideas.

On Monday May 27th the annual Memorial Day Mass was celebrated at St. Mathew Church near Veblen S.D. Fr. Gregg Frankman was the celebrant. Fr. Frankman will be retiring July 1st.

The 8th Grade Promotion happened over two days. On Wednesday, May 22nd at 5:00 p.m. the Parents, Families and the St. Peter Community gathered in Church to pray the Rosary for the promoting class.
