St. Bernard Mission School started its 146th school year on September 5, 2023. What is impressive is the quality of education and care provided to each student.
Our students were welcomed by our new Parish Pastor, Fr. Edmund Yainao and our President, Rodney Bordeaux. This school year we welcomed new students so we celebrated with numerous ice breakers and spirit week.
The African American Catholic Youth Congress (AACYC) was held at St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette on Saturday, November 18.

It has been a yearly tradition at St. Nicholas School in Struthers, Ohio for the fifth graders to pay homage to the Saints for the Feast of All Saints. Each student selects a saint of their choice and researches their life.

As school resumed in August we entered into the one hundred and first year of classes at St Anthony Indian Mission. The use of that idiom “101” usually denotes something basic principal on which to build something larger or greater.
In this our 101st year of school we are trying to recover normalcy of routine, but with new challenges as long term members of staff have finally retired.
