It is nothing but joy as we celebrate spring events at St. Francis School. We celebrated the new life of Christ in the Resurrection, especially during our annual Stations of the Cross walk, a pilgrimage with live stations hosted by the 7th and 8th graders.

On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the 22 students of St. Andrew Catholic School’s Class of 2025, their families, and staff all came together to joyfully celebrate a memorable milestone.

The spring semester at Grambling State University was a busy one for the students who are a part of the Catholic Student Organization (CSO).

Sacred Heart School middle school students explored a world of professional possibilities during an engaging Career Day event, where experts from diverse fields shared insights into their careers and the paths that led them there.

Indian Mission | 

On the last Friday of Lent, the people of Ysleta del Sur Pueblo and the surrounding community gathered to pray the stations of the cross at the reservation. We processed throughout the reservation praying the stations at different tribal members homes. The evening served as a great witness of faith in preparation for the triduum and Easter. Traditional councilmen and tribal members participated in the triduum celebrations, Holy Thursday, with the reception and blessing of the Holy Oils, and tribal members participating in the washing of the feet. On Good Friday the procession of Our Lord and our sorrowful Mother around the streets of the Mission, and on Holy Saturday the blessing and lighting of the Easter fire in front of the Mission.

The 48th Annual Diocese of Biloxi Youth Conference (DBYC) was held from March 14–16, 2025, at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

We at St. Augustine Parish, through our Religious Education Program, continue to nourish our youth in our catholic faith.

Eighth grade students from the Washington School for Girls (WSG) arrived home from the inaugural Girls Go Global trip to England this May!
