We met with the SFM Youth group on December 24, 2024 to make candy bags for after Midnight Mass at St. Charles Borromeo, St. Francis, SD. This is an annual event that the youth group is able to provide for the Parishes of St. Charles and St. Bridget's.

In January, the catechemuns participated in the Rite of Welcoming. Each week, we focused on one of the topics and honored one of our parishioners in our community.

As we have entered the New Year, we are counting down the days for the upcoming reception of the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation. First, our Annual Christmas Program was held on Sunday December 22, 2024.

December was a month of concerts for Saint Benedict the Moor School! Saint Benedict the Moor opened its doors to family, faculty, and friends for their all-school band.

This school year our students at Sisters Academy of Baltimore had the incredible opportunity to attend a performance of The Nutcracker.

The Native American Ministry hosted a celebration Mass and reception on Native American Heritage Day.

Over 600 people filled the sanctuary of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Detroit for its annual Black Catholic Ministries Gospel Choir Concert. The BCMGCC kicks off Black Catholic History Month celebration in SE Michigan.

The youth of St. Rita parish (Y.U.P. Youth United with a Purpose) meet regularly on the third Sunday of each month. Each month is a planned agenda with their Youth Board and the Senior Board, where they decide on plans, based on their previous meetings.

First Holy Communion is a very important sacrament for every Catholic child, especially our Akwesasronon children and youth.
