HNOJ was blessed to have four RCIA catechumens this year we attended the Rite of Election at the Our Lady of Angeles Cathedral. They participated in classes from the four-neighboring parishes (Holy Name of Jesus, St Bernadette, St Brigid and Transfiguration).
St. Anthony Indian Mission is 100 years old and we simply had to celebrate. The celebration began with the bishop, clergy and servers processing into the gym where a group of our students welcomed them with Zuni cultural dancing.

The diocese of Charleston held their Eucharistic Congress on Saturday, April 6th at the Columbia Convention Center in Columbia, SC. The Friday night before the event several parishes open their doors for a "About Town" pre - Eucharistic Celebration.

Catholic Schools Week 2024 at St. Augustine Indian Mission was a blast! In addition to the typical dress up days (Hawaiian shirts, favorite teams and crazy hair day, oh my!), students worked together to decorate their classroom doors using a scripture theme.
In our vibrant kindergarten classrooms, the journey of discovering God's boundless love unfolds through a myriad of hands-on experiences. With hearts full of wonder and curiosity, our little learners eagerly immerse themselves in interactive activities.
During the month of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mother (October 2023), the Rosary was recited in the homes of parishioners by the Rev. Emmanuel Awe, SSJ for thirty days. He travelled with a box of intentions from parishioners to pray over.
At St. Nicholas School we consider Catholic Schools a privileged environment. We are able to pray, attend liturgies and acknowledge the presence of God among us. Catholic Schools Week is something the students look forward to and is celebrated across the country.
