Black Catholic Mission | 

During Lent, sixty members of the parish completed the “Jesus and the Eucharist” series in March 2024. All who attended stated that they really enjoyed the lessons on Jesus and the Eucharist series.

Not even a late Spring blizzard could keep the faithful away from the first annual Turtle Mountain Marian Conference, held May 24-26.

The summer has been exceptionally hot here at Saint Stephens Indian Mission, with temperatures soaring to nearly 100 degrees.

Lighting the teepee that we built in our Circle Drive Courtyard is another way in which we connect the traditional Arapahoe and Shoshoni traditions in with our Catholic faith.

On Sunday, June 23, 2024, was Monsignor Chanel's last Mass at Saint James Catholic Church. Monsignor Chanel served our community with a caring, compassionate, understanding heart for nine years.

The month of June is dedicated to celebration and programs to accompany the youth of our Church and this rural community of Camden, Mississippi. We initiated the 1st Annual Pray & Play Tournament at Sacred Heart Church.

After submitting their 1st semester grades, Pierre Toussaint Scholars, with the generous support of the Black and Indian Mission Fund, received their scholarship awards.
