Saint James Catholic Church
At Saint James Catholic Church during Sunday Mass, we introduced the catechists who will be teaching faith formation and sacramental classes. Father Fenly Saint-Jean blessed them and presented them to the Saint James community. They were then sent forth to evangelize and serve as witnesses for the children of God. We are deeply grateful for the dedication of both religious and laypeople who serve the Kingdom of God and minister to the formation of His children.
At Saint James Catholic Church during Sunday Mass, we joyfully introduced the catechists who will be entrusted with the sacred responsibility of teaching faith formation and sacramental classes. With hearts full of gratitude, Father Fanley led a beautiful blessing over them, invoking the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen them in their mission. He then presented them to the Saint James community, affirming their role as spiritual leaders and educators.
Following the blessing, the catechists were formally commissioned and sent forth, called to evangelize with passion and humility and to be living witnesses to the love and mercy of God. Their mission is not only to impart knowledge but to foster a deep relationship with Christ in the hearts of those they teach, helping to form the next generation of disciples.
We are profoundly thankful for the selfless service of both religious and laypeople who dedicate their time and talents to the Kingdom of God.
