St. Ann (Diocese of Marquette)
St Ann Parish extends their appreciation to the Black and Indian Commission for supporting our capital campaign projects. Specifically, grant monies this past year were used to fund the complete resurfacing of the existing roof as well as important mortar repair work around the church structure. The original roof covering was about 100 years old and beginning to fail. We also had several areas that required extensive mortar repairs in and around the bricks and concrete steps. The contractor also removed two chimneys that were no longer being utilized. All roof surface areas were replaced to match. It would not have been possible to realize this $125,000 major reconstruction project without the generosity of the Diocese of Marquette and the Black and Indian Commission.
