Immaculate Conception Parish School
Honoring Veteran's with an annual Veteran's Day breakfast and program, is a treasured tradition of Immaculate Conception Parish School. Every year the students, teachers and staff work hard to prepare gifts, decorations, and entertainment for all the veterans who attend. The students in third grade sang "This Land is Your Land", the fifth and sixth graders did a beautiful job reciting the Preamble of the Constitution, and the 4th graders sang "America the Beautiful". While they were practicing, the preschool through second grade were busy preparing thank you cards and art work to hand to each veteran who attended the celebrations. Each year there is a key note speaker and this year's was a parent who is a Sergeant First Class in the Army and had a beautiful speech in which he talked about how his faith has seen him through his job.
