Immaculate Conception School
This summer, the Principal and teachers at Immaculate Conception Parish School took the opportunity to explore various options in structuring the school setting in order to best meet the needs of the students. They were excited and rejuvenated by the plan they developed in the creation of Learning Communities. The focus will be based upon three learning communities throughout the building. (PK/K, 1st/2nd, and 3-6th grades) The primary goal is to create more opportunities to work collaboratively among the grade levels. The grouping of these communities is devised according to the educational and physical development of the students. The learning outcomes will create greater socialization both within and between communities, aiding to nurture and promote student development.
