Saint Lawrence Catholic School
On October 3rd, students and parents at Saint Lawrence Catholic School came together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Students were encouraged to wear the traditional attire or costumes of a country of their choice. It was wonderful to see our entire student body embrace such diversity and so many different cultures.
Parents were welcomed with a cafecito in the morning, followed by an amazing, grade-level brunch inspired by the varied cuisine of the Americas. Students enjoyed old favorites and tried brand-new culinary creations. To cap the day, each grade performed a unique dance focused on the music and culture of a Latin American country. It was great to see so many parents return to school to celebrate their child’s performance.
At Saint Lawrence Catholic School, we pride ourselves on being a diverse collection of faculty and students, all united in celebration, praise, and thanksgiving.
