St. Francis Mission
The Body, Mind and Soul Summer Camp is sponsored by the Religious Education Program at St. Francis Mission each summer and incorporates Lakota teachings and crafts into Bible lessons.
The camp reaches all the major communities on the Rosebud Reservation. This year's theme was : "Roar - Life is Wild - God is Good!"
The first camp was hosted in Spring Creek. The second camp was hosted in Parmelee with volunteers from Tampa Jesuit High School. The camps are supported by a generous grant from the Black and Indian Mission Office.
