St. Lawrence School’s Kindergarten and Second Grade classes were busy as bees while working on their project-based learning activity this week. The subject? You guessed it, bees!

Holy Cross Parish has begun our religious education program for the 2019-2010 school year. Our classes are held on Sundays after the 10:30 Mass.

It is tradition at St. Nicholas School for the fifth graders to celebrate the Saints. Each fifth grade student represents a Saint of their choice. They dress in costume protraying their Saint.

In Jan. of this year, we implemented MAGIS Houses at the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks. Students are assigned to a house and stay with this house throughout their tenure.

School is well underway now! The start of the school year was a great success. We have had several Masses with our new pastor, Fr. Theo Weria, ALCP and Deacon Ben Hooks.

With the start of the 2019-2020 school year, St. Mary’s Cathedral School promised to be very exciting for our Middle School student body as the students were issued iPads on a 1 to 1 basis for the first time.
