St Peter Claver Catholic School is a historic Black Catholic School, but it also has a growing Hispanic population. SPCCS has always been a school open and welcoming to all children of every race and creed and that continues to this day.

The Office of Black Catholic Ministry of the Diocese of Phoenix is proud to host and celebrate the Life and Legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. every year.

St. Lawrence School actively participated in Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme from the NCEA was Faith, Excellence, and Service.

At St. James Catholic Church, our motto is: "Doers of the word living for the Lord." There is no better month to live out this motto than in the month of November.

The parishioners at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church celebrate the feast day by renewing their faith in a spiritual revival.
