Maconites of every race and creed gathered for the 29th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast Celebration.

The Office of Black Catholics, in collaboration with the Office of Catholic Schools, sponsors the Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest each year.

It is a tradition that the seventh grade students present the Still Stations after the Ash Wednesday Mass. It brings our community together as we begin our Lenten Journey.

The annual Mass for Promoting Harmony was held on February 23, 2019 as a Black History month celebration.

Catholic School's Week (Jan. 27-Feb. 2) was a tremendous success at Saint Augustine Catholic School in Washington, D.C., the second oldest parish school in the nation’s capital, founded in 1858.

St. Peter Claver Church hosted its third annual Heritage Festival on the parish patron's feast day, Sunday, September 9th, 2018, immediately following Mass with Bishop John.
