Lakota Catholics and others praying for the canonization of Nicholas Black recently celebrated the first anniversary of the opening of that canonization effort.

This year’s Communion class, held once annually, consisted of 3 children ages 7-10.

Our parish has approximately 200 parishioners annually, a majority whom are members from local Native Tribes, but we serve our whole community.

St. Francis School is located in the far northeast of the Diocese of Gallup. It serves the children of Jicarilla Apache nation.
