St. Lawrence School
St. Lawrence School celebrated All Saints Day a bit differently this year due to Covid-19. Around one-third of our students are receiving in person instruction in the school building. Meaning, two-thirds of our students are at home learning virtually. When it comes to student participation for special school events, our faculty and staff always brainstorm on different ways to get all students engaged for these special moments. Teachers encouraged all students to dress up as their favorite saint. During mass with Fr. Cletus Omode, students shared why they chose their particular saint. Student who are at home learning virtually, also dressed up and shared with their classroom teacher why they thought their saint was special. It was nice to see that this pandemic didn’t stop our school community from celebrating All Saints Day.
