Little Flower Catholic School, Heart of Mary Catholic School

Little Flower Catholic School and Heart of Mary Catholic School in Mobile are off to a fun and enriching 2021-22 school year. Third-grade students at Little Flower Catholic School began the school year by reading the classic Judy Blume book "Freckle Juice." The book tells the story of a young student named Andrew who wishes to have freckles. His classmate sells him a disgusting concoction call "Freckle Juice," which only makes Andrew sick. After he knows he was scammed, Andrew dots his face with marker to try and show the "Freckle Juice" worked. Little Flower students enjoyed reading the book, doting their faces with freckles and making their own "Freckle Juice." Some were even brave enough to try their own "Freckle Juice." Meanwhile, Heart of Mary Catholic School fourth and fifth-grade students enjoyed learning on iPads. Younger students in first and second grade also enjoyed learning as they learned how to divide words into syllables.
