Diocese of Phoenix
We are excited to share that the Office of Black Catholic Ministry has now started livestreaming both weekly and Sunday services from St. Josephine Bakhita to the entire diocese thanks to your generous grant! Bishop Emeritus Olmsted visited the Black Catholic community for youth Sunday, and the mass was livestreamed. On the week of August 11th, St. Peter Indian Mission school started up again. They began with a rosary at 7:30AM, classes, a noon high-school mass, a 3:15 sendoff prayer and dismissal at 3:30PM. Students also attended Eucharistic Adoration throughout the week. Your generous support of the sisters and the school truly means so much to the students. The Diocese of Phoenix’s Offices of Black Catholic and Native American are sincerely grateful for your support of the evangelization and education efforts of our Black and Native American communities!
