St. Teresa of Avila School
May is a beautiful month at St. Teresa of Avila School because it is the month our students receive the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Two of our students received the Sacrament of Baptism on Easter Sunday and they were able to join the other four students in their class in receiving the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist on Thursday, May 4th. Nine of our students from 5th to 8th grade received the Sacrament of confirmation with 75 other candidates from our parish on Saturday, May 7th. Bishop Wall stated that it was the largest confirmation group he's ever had. We are grateful that we have the resources to provide the tools our students need to receive their sacraments and fully live their faith. It enriches our school, our parish, and our community.
