Sacred Heart Catholic Parish/School
What a wonderful start we have had to the 2022-2023 school year that kicked off on August 24 at our Back to School Night Event! We officially welcomed our Cardinals back to school on August 29 and the day was filled with excitement, happiness, laughter, and meeting our new friends and staff members. We felt so blessed to welcome over 30 new students for an enrollment of over 160 again this year.
We added a new Smart TV to our school lobby, new scoreboards in our gymnasium, new paint and flooring in a couple classrooms, and new street signs near both of our entrances over the summer. We also have a team in place that is working on getting our school a brand new playground that will break ground in the summer of 2023! It is a part of the larger Revitalization Plan that Director of Admissions and Development, Autumne Gee, is spear heading. The plan was created to refresh, revitalize, and reinvent the school campus to modernize it in such a way to ensure it remains visually competitive with other schools in the community.
Our theme this year is focused on being a TEAM, Together Everyone Achieves More, and we want our students, staff, and families to remember that we are a Sacred Heart Cardinal Team and need to positively work together so our classrooms and school can be filled with learning new things, working together, respectful interactions, sharing kindness as Children of Christ, and having a lot of fun during the 2022-2023 school year. We are going to work hard to emulate God's faith, respect and kindness in all that we do each day of our lives. We will continue to 'Show our Cardinal Pride by Doing our Best!
