Christ the King Catholic Church
The first week of February Catholic Schools across the Nation celebrated one of the most important events in their School year, Catholic Schools’ week. Christ The King Catholic School is blessed to have so many reasons to celebrate. Here we celebrated the gift of having representation from multiple Hampton Roads’ parishes. We also celebrated our school community, every single member past, and present, who participated and fostered the success of our school. We celebrated our students, our most beautiful gift, and the heart of CTK; they are talented, smart, funny, caring, and loving. It is easy to find God in their innocence and their natural desire to do good and make their parents and teachers proud. We celebrated our nation, this great land where we are free to praise and honor our Lord and Creator while using our talents to the transmission of the Catholic faith through education. We celebrated our talented and dedicated teachers, staff, and volunteers, who kept our school running day in and day out, under unprecedented pandemic conditions. The faculty and staff are always ready to go the extra mile when needed. Lastly, we celebrated our families, all unique and special in their own way, yet all so beautiful. A true reflection of God’s love.
