St. Bernard Mission School
The St. Bernard Mission School at the Catholic Indian Mission in Ft. Yates, North Dakota began a new school year at the end of August 2025. The education provided to the students has made a powerful difference in the lives of our students. Although our school has students in grades K-8, when our students go on to area high schools, they are most often the leaders in their music and extra-curricular activities, the class officers, and the student government leaders. Additionally, in 23 of the past 24 years, our students have been either the valedictorian or the salutatorian or both.
