Catholic Schools of Fairbanks
In January of this year, we implemented MAGIS Houses at the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks. Students from PK through 12 are assigned to a house and stay with this house throughout their tenure at our schools. During the school year, students participate in special projects with their MAGIS Houses and sit together at Mass.
MAGIS Houses are a way to more closely connect PK-12 students in groups where mentoring relationships can be developed across grade levels over time.
The goal of MAGIS Houses is to make our community life better and more rich through:
1) Prayer
2) Working Together - respecting one another
3) Friendship - companionship in the Lord
