Holy Family Early Learning Center
This year's Fall Carnival was one of the largest carnivals we have actually had in years!! Hats off to Ms. Faye Barnes, chairperson and all of the faculty and staff that assisted her. Faculty, staff, students, and parents all gathered together and had a great time. The weather was beautiful and crisp, the smell of BBQ filled the air and the community gathered for one of our largest fundraisers.
Fall was definitely in place as they ate cotton candy, popcorn, listened to music and played games.
To top it off a big thank you to Dr. Ira Sewell for allowing her students of Alcorn State University Nursing School for allowing her students to assist with the face painting of the children. The students really enjoyed that as well.
Overall, the 2019 Fall Carnival was an enormous success!!
Also, Alcorn State University School of Nursing partnered with Holy Family Early Learning Center to instruct students on water safety and bike safety. The students really enjoyed the students coming in to teach them and spend time with them.
There are several activities going on at Holy Family School that involve the community and our community stakeholders. At Holy Family Early Learning Center, not only are we educating young minds and preparing them for the world, but we are preparing them to be global citizens.
