St. Augustine Indian Mission
Much has changed at St. Augustine Mission since March 17, the day we closed the school and Mission churches due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our clergy, faculty and staff have used creative ways to stay connected with our students and parishioners. Masses have become virtual events and teachers created messages to their students that were shared through social media. Staff placed photos of the students on the pews in St. Augustine Church. The sadness of separation turned into the joy of remembering the beautiful, smiling faces of our students.
