Sapa Un Jesuit Academy
We have transitioned perfectly into our new school year with 42 students. Our students were welcomed by our new Parish Pastor, Fr. Edmund Yainao and our President, Rodney Bordeaux.
This school year we welcomed new students so we celebrated with numerous ice breakers and spirit week. We had a specific day where our students can dress up in something that reflects their own culture. Some of our students enjoyed wearing our traditional ribbon shirts and skirts. In October our students and parents made special treats for our annual “Reverse Trick or Treating”. This is a special time where our students deliver treats to different programs and individuals instead of our students receiving. We also had a day for our own staff and students to dress up in their costumes for Halloween. During our reading times our middle school students have enjoyed reading to the younger students and we love to the bond they are all making. We will end our year with our MAP testing which tests to see where our students stand for the first semester. We look forward to the remaining school year!
