Sacred Heart Church
The month of June is dedicated to celebration and programs to accompany the youth of our Church and this rural community of Camden, Mississippi. We initiated the 1st Annual Pray & Play Tournament at Sacred Heart Church. Each Sunday in June the Catholic children of our community come with their families to celebrate the Liturgy in the morning at Church. The various children from the neighboring churches celebrate with their worshipping communities. Then in the afternoon, children and families gather at the Sacred Heart Gym for the basketball tournament. We pray again together and then enjoy the play of our children. The "Pray & Play" monthly event was a wonderful success for the whole community. We are planning to continue the program during the Christmas and Spring breaks.
