Indian Day – Celebration of Native American Heritage and Cultural Affairs
This vibrant cultural event brought together approximately 300 attendees, including parents, community members, and tribal leaders, to honor Native American heritage. Highlights included traditional food such as fry bread and Indian tacos, and cultural performances led by eight students and a Hopi community member from Bapchule. The program featured traditional singing, instrumentation, and basket dances, creating a rich atmosphere of community and celebration.
Youth Leadership Retreat – Office of Black Catholic Ministry
This day-long retreat, led by lay evangelist William Stinson King, focused on helping youth explore faith, identity, and leadership within the Catholic Church. Activities included icebreakers, prayers, keynotes, small groups, and creative workshops centered on faith in action, evangelization through arts, and building a youth council. The day also featured liturgy, praise and worship, reconciliation and adoration, and a Parish Vision Board project. The retreat closed with a powerful rally of music, testimonies, and night prayer, fostering spiritual growth and youth empowerment.
