Diocese of Raleigh: Kateri Circle – Meeting online and in person

The Diocese of Raleigh Kateri Circle meets monthly and feature Native American and Native Catholic guest speakers from across the nation. We have featured topics such as the Medicine Wheel with Julienne Montour, the road to canonization for Nicholas Black Elk with Bill White, and tribal sovereignty with Lumbee educator, Ryan Dial.

In November, we celebrate American Indian Heritage month in North Carolina. Local members of our Kateri Circle attended the 30th Annual American Indian Heritage Celebration at the NC Art Museum in Raleigh and enjoyed Native dancing, presentations, and artist demonstrations.
