American Indian Catholic Outreach (Oklahoma)

SEPTEMBER:

The American Indian Catholic Outreach (AICO) participated in a Zoom meeting concerning the protection of vulnerable individuals such as children, the elderly and those with disabilities.

The AICO spoke with Father David Bailey, Assistant Director, Native American Affairs, Secretariat of Cultural Diversity in the Church, USCCB, concerning the USCCB document “Keeping Christ's Sacred Promise, A Pastoral Framework for Indigenous Ministry." The AICO sent Father Bailey a copy of a proposal that was sent to the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City concerning how the document could be best implemented in the Archdiocese.
