The month of June we traveled to the communities of St. Francis, Rosebud, Spring Creek, and Parmelee! July 8-12, 2024 was our last week of Body, mind & soul camps for 2024 in the community of Mission.
In July we celebrated the Feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha with our annual Mass celebration. The Mass has native drumming by our Native American parishioner, Stoney Cuthair.
The hustle and bustle of summer has begun. School is out for summer break– and with that, for some, kids/families schedules go from school activities to summer activities.
Sr. France Vista, the Director of Catholic Native Ministry for the Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau is grateful to have been able to take four young adults to D.C. to attend the 10th Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in July 2024.
St. Michael’s parish celebrated Father Hanz’s 20th Ordination Anniversary on June 7th. It started with a wonderful Mass and ended with dinner and surprise karaoke performances by Fr. Hanz and several of his fellow Filipino Priests.
This program is designed to provide our students with the unique opportunity to travel abroad, experience new cultures, and meet girls from our sister school in London.
