It is now May, and in a few short weeks the St. Jude Mission School students will be going on summer vacation. We had a wonderful school year.

Some families need assistance with meeting the cost of tuition and the school has increased ways to meet the demand.

The end of the school year is rapidly approaching the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks. The spring breakup took place, as expected and the parking lot held our annual lake.

Earlier this month, Saint Joseph School joined Catholic schools across our Diocese and across the country in celebrating Catholic Schools Week! Students celebrated with their parishes by wearing their uniforms to Mass and church services.

Bishop Joe Vásquez made a pastoral visitation to the Igbo Catholic Community of the Diocese of Austin by celebrating the Mass of the First Sunday of Advent on November 28.

Spring has arrived here on the Red Cloud Indian School campuses as we welcome the warmer weather and longer days.

What a wonderful few months here at St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic.

On March 25, the students, faculty and staff of Our Lady of Guadalupe school gathered in our grotto and joined Pope Francis and Catholics throughout the world by praying for peace in the Ukraine. Different classes took turns leading different portions of the prayer.

We are most appreciative of the grant from the Black and Indian Mission Office.
