St. Michael Indian Elementary School
The first-grade class at St. Michael Indian School is embracing the season of giving by crafting special Christmas bags to share with the community. Each student decorated the bags with heartfelt messages and colorful designs, infusing them with cheer and goodwill. These thoughtful gifts aim to inspire joy and connection, reflecting the spirit of Christmas.
In addition to their creative endeavors, the first graders joined their fellow elementary and preschool students in the school’s annual Christmas program. The event featured a delightful repertoire of Christmas songs, performed with enthusiasm for their families and friends.
A highlight of the evening was the short play "Assignment: Christmas Past" by Tom Priest, performed by students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The play brought the Christmas story to life, showcasing the talents and teamwork of the young performers.
The first-grade class’s efforts to spread joy, both through their community outreach and their participation in the Christmas program, exemplify the values of love, kindness, and togetherness at the heart of the holiday season.
