St. Peter Claver Catholic School

St Peter Claver Catholic School sends many of its graduates on to high school at Mount de Sales Academy, an independent Catholic school also in Macon, GA. Those graduates remember their days at SPCCS and they come back to visit regularly! And when they do, they bring their new friends to work on campus on many different projects. Most recently they came back with an entire school bus filled with canned goods for the food pantry at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Run by the St. Vincent dePaul Society, the food pantry is one of only two pantries serving the Pleasant Hill Neighborhood and every can and donation really matters for the pantry that is now regularly serving over 125 households on a bi-weekly basis. Throughout the year St Peter Claver students make sandwiches for the clients of the food pantry to have for lunch when they shop the pantry and the lunch bags are decorated with loving messages and art by second graders. St. Peter Claver students are always on mission; in service of others while excelling academically.
