Our Lady of Guadalupe School (Ferguson)
The motto /theme this year for Our Lady of Guadalupe-Ferguson, MO, is The Holy Spirit: Our Helper, Teacher, and Guide.
The school was ready and waiting for our students to return and start their academic year, August 14, 2024. Our PTA Parents, friends, family and parishioners & volunteers greeted each student with warmth, laughter, giggles, fist bumps and joy – They were filled with the HOLY SPIRIT!
For the first time since pre-covid days, we welcomed our parents, grandparents and guardians to accompany their children to the classrooms, greet the teacher and bid farewell for the day to their children. The school was filled with the HOLY SPIRIT!!
On Thursday August 15, 2024 were celebrated The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with ALL SCHOOL MASS in Church, Rev. Patrick T. Hayden, our pastor, presided. His homily was a message of welcome, in English and Spanish, and the church was filled with the HOLY SPIRIT!
This year we are fortunate to have a school population that is overflowing, with waiting lists in almost every grade. Our teachers have made excellent use of the donations of new colorful carpets, construction paper, school supplies, art supplies and more….to provide classrooms that encourage kindness, respect, love and learning, for EVERY student, returning or new. The classrooms are filled with the HOLY SPIRIT!
Thank you for your most generous donation. We hope you can see that we are putting your funds to good use. Your grant has again helped our teachers provide a quantity Catholic education for our students here at Our Lady of Guadalupe; it has enabled us to be filled with the HOLY SPIRIT!
