We open with our “Welcome Song” and then the “Four Directions Song” and smudging. These are to welcome all and to ask for God’s blessings and show our thankfulness.

Again, with gratitude and hope, the Kateri Community of Hoopa knows how blessed we are by the Black and Indian Missions. Thank you! Certainly, we know that we are not alone; everyone is yearning for in person church services.

There were 143 students in K4 through 8th grade in the school who participated in the program during the 2019-2020 school year.

The Newman Catholic Student Center provides the Church a physical presence at the SIU Carbondale campus (a large, public university), as well as outreach to nearby community colleges.

After a sudden shutdown in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic, schools scrambled to implement distance learning for teachers and students.

We are most grateful for the funds we receive at the Church of St. John the Baptist in Trenton. Because of this most generous grant, we are able to carry out some evangelization efforts that we normally could not do. As the pastor, I am convinced of the importance of getting valuable resources to our parishioners (and non-parishioners), many of which I believe change hearts and minds. Here are some things we have done lately which benefits our parish.
