The children are so glad to be back to school, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, seeing their friends.
New Life at Congregation of the Great Spirit
We open with our “Welcome Song” and then the “Four Directions Song” and smudging. These are to welcome all and to ask for God’s blessings and show our thankfulness.
Hopes for the Future
Again, with gratitude and hope, the Kateri Community of Hoopa knows how blessed we are by the Black and Indian Missions. Thank you! Certainly, we know that we are not alone; everyone is yearning for in person church services.
Contemplation Program
There were 143 students in K4 through 8th grade in the school who participated in the program during the 2019-2020 school year.
Newman Center Ministry with Young People
The Newman Catholic Student Center provides the Church a physical presence at the SIU Carbondale campus (a large, public university), as well as outreach to nearby community colleges.
