St. Augustine Indian Mission, located in the rolling hills of northeast Nebraska was started in 1908 by St. Katharine Drexel. We are proud to be the only Catholic institution in the region to be started by a saint.

A group of Diocese employees traveled to Alexandria, La for the 83rd Annual Tekakwitha Conference. The Tekakwitha Conference is the voice, presence, and identity of Indigenous Catholics of North America under the protection of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha.
