Immaculate Conception Parish School
Two local volunteer fire companies visited Immaculate Conception Parish School to teach the students about what to do if there is a fire in their homes. They showed them what a firefighter, in full turn- out gear, looks like and so the children won't be afraid of them if they are trapped in a burning building. The students also got to tour two different trucks, use water extinguishers, the older children had relays and the younger got to do activity books. Everyone had a great time and hopefully sparked an interest in volunteering at their local fire companies when they grow up.
