On October 4, 2025, the new Archbishop of Detroit visited Gesu church and school to celebrate Mass and take a tour of the school. This was on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi and Archbishop Weisenburger came in recognition of Gesu’s important work.

The JEDI Team at Cardinal Spellman High School welcomed NFL referee and Harvard-trained attorney Ronald Torbert for a powerful conversation with students centered on perseverance, faith, and purpose.

The 2026 Drum Major Awards were celebrated on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Toledo. Held in conjunction with the Mass for Promoting Harmony, the annual awards recall the legacy of Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church hosted a listening session with Bishop Steven Raica and the Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary.
