St. Anthony Catholic Church Lafayette, Ladies Altar Society Retreat was held on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2019. The speaker was Stephanie Bernard.

St. Jude Catholic Church (Little Diomede Island)--In late September, Bishop Zielinski and missionary priest Fr. Kumar Pasala from India visited St. Jude’s for three days to celebrate the Mass and sacraments.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Scholarship first began when the NAMO decided something needed to be done to help Native American children attending Catholic School.

In November 2019, Don Bosco Cristo Rey (DBCR) High School & Corporate Work Study Program held their annual College Fair. Over 20 colleges and universities arrived.

Historically, Catholic schools have served as the “principal instrument of evangelization” for African-Americans.

The 2019 SMCS All Saints Day Celebration began with our all-student mass in the cathedral, led by our very own Father Marino. During the Homily, Father Marino reminded the students that prayer means “to ask".

Founded in 2010, Saint Francis International School has always embraced our Franciscan identity and charism as a core part of our mission.

During September, the Catholic Diocese of Richmond hosted a Native American Retreat. This was an opportunity to learn, deepen, and celebrate Native American Spirituality.
