In the tradition of Saint John Baptist De La Salle, who opened schools for poor boys in seventeenth-century France, De La Salle Blackfeet School (DLSBS) fulfills the Lasallian mission to provide a “quality, innovative, faith-based education”.
The Black & Indian Grant has helped St. Anthony of New Town to provided many different opportunities for our students.
One of the catechists made over thirty crosses so that each child could have their own cross. The children and RE teachers took time to decorate each cross.
Faith formation students made Advent Chain count down Christmas calendars. They glued or taped the links and then each day they could remove them and pray for someone or something.
The children made loaves of bread at our first communion retreat, one to take home and one to have blessed at Mass.
On Saturday, March 2nd, Red Cloud High School students left the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota to visit Cristo Rey.

On December 18th, Spellman students in the Senior Ministry "Christ Crew" joined together with the Sophomore class to put together blankets for the homeless!
