Our Annual Lunch with the Governors was held on June 30,2022. This gathering brings together the Governors of the twenty Pueblos and Archbishop John C. Wester. The gathering is very important to the Archbishop because he can meet each official personally and continue the relationship that has been developed with each Pueblo over the years. Especially since some of the Governors are appointed or voted into office every year.
In this gathering the Governors also have an opportunity to surface and discuss concerns on the Pueblos. The native community is very important to our Archbishop and this lunch continues to strengthen the relationship between Pueblos and the Archdiocese.
During the luncheon the Governor’s will use this opportunity to invite the Archbishop to their Feast Day Mass and celebrations.
