St. Pius X Classical Academy
We love our St. Pius X families! In our first photo, this young student assisted the Principal with thanking our families for all they do! At morning drop-off, we gave our parents flowers and a special prayer letting them know we are grateful for their dedication to Catholic education. One of our parents even got out of his car to take a picture with the student! Wouldn’t you love that sweet face welcoming you in the morning too?
A great way to honor our students is to celebrate their academic feats. Every quarter we celebrate and honor our students for their hard work in the classroom. Students in grades 3-8 can earn these awards and must also have excellent grades in behavior. These stellar students earned “All A’s” and they are some of the best!
Another awesome part of St. Pius X is our athletics program. Our 7th and 8th grade girls JV basketball team won the regular season and the final league championship! This group of girls has been at St. Pius X for most of their elementary school, perfecting their game together! Our coach has also been in this role for many years, taking these girls to multiple championship games!
During Catholic Schools Week, we decided to invite families to bring their students lunch on Student Appreciation Day! Most of our students had visitors bearing delicious fast food meals. This event had a great turn out and our students were overjoyed for the treat. We are excited for the next lunch on campus so more of our families feel comfortable joining and being with each other!
Each year we celebrate Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday on the day before Ash Wednesday. All of our classes make masks and wear Mardi gras colors! Our classroom parties consist of snacks and goodies before starting Lent the next day. We even have special Kings Cake to provide a sweet treat for our students and staff. If you get the baby Jesus, its your turn to bring the Kings Cake!
It’s great to be able to celebrate the wonderful components that make up our school! St. Pius X is a special place to be!
