Holy Family Catholic School
The students and families at Holy Family Catholic School in North Miami were very excited to find out that they would be able to receive First Communion this year. It was uncertain whether they would be able to because of the pandemic. So many events and celebrations have had to be postponed or cancelled due to COVID, that this was seen as the beginning of a return to normalcy and it was exciting to see our students prepare to receive the Eucharist for the very first time.
We were very fortunate to have Deacon Ramirez help prepare our students who were here on campus as well as those learning virtually. He conducted classes virtually to make sure that our students were fully prepared for this very special time in their lives.
While it was a little different, being required to wear a mask and keep socially distant from everyone, we were able to make it a special and memorable occasion for our students. We are very grateful for the pastor and deacon who worked diligently with our students to prepare them and celebrate with them.
Congratulations and May God Bless our students and their families.
