Indian Mission

I grew up in a town of fewer than 50 people on the Coeur d’Alene River in the mountains of northern Idaho.

Faith Formation for both St. Anthony’s and St. Mary’s continues to be coordinated with the local school’s 21st Century after school program. This allows students to have transportation home after faith formation or sacrament prep sessions. 

The annual Native American Mass was celebrated on Saturday, November 6, 2022, at Saint Anne Catholic Church, Ruskin, Florida, in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

The past few months have been awesome! As I reported in the last article, it is wonderful to have students back in person.

Sacred Heart Catholic School celebrated National Catholic Schools Week January 31- February 4, 2022. The theme this year was “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.”

For several years, Saint Mary’s Church in Lower Brule, within the Diocese of Rapid City, South Dakota, has received a grant from the Black and Indian Mission Office (BIMO) to support operations on the Lower Brule Indian Reservation.
