St. Lawrence School
St. Lawrence School actively participated in Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme from the NCEA was Faith, Excellence, and Service. Faculty and staff wanted to make sure this year’s celebration was special and met various times to collectively plan fun and engaging activities for the students. Each day we highlighted an activity and group of individuals that exemplified a life of faith, excellence, and service. One of the days the students enjoyed the most was our celebration of essential workers. Students came to school dressed up as an essential care worker of their choice and shared with the class why they felt their choice was a true example of faith, excellence, and service. It was beautiful to see how our students have internalized the importance of essential care workers, not only as heroes, but as servants to faith.
