This picture was taken in July at Our Lady of Assumption Church at Zia Pueblo. We had 34 students who made their First Communion. We had to split the classes to accommodate all the families to attend church. This was the second group. It is a beautiful picture that I wanted to share with you. Our church was build in the 1600s, and the original foundation is still there. There was an attempt to destroy our church during the Pueblo Revolt but only the roof and part of the top building had fallen.
