Venango Region Catholic Schools
Kindergarteners at St. Stephen Elementary met Winnie, a certified therapy dog who works with the local Paws 4 a Cause therapy dog group. They learned how Winnie visits nursing homes, hospitals, schools, and libraries as a way to bring comfort to those who are ill, who need cheering up, or who are struggling with various circumstances in life. For Winnie and her handler, it’s a unique way to minister to people in need.
