Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic School
Responsibilities changed hands in May as new Student Council Members were elected, and a special mass was done in honor and to bless these students, as some moved on to high school, and others moved up in the ranks of Student Council. New National Junior Honor Society Members were chosen based on grades, behavior, and service. They experienced a special induction ceremony to honor the occasion. The following links below show three fun events from the end of the year, where video was the form of documentation. First was Enrichment Night where students of all grade levels showed off their skills in music, poetry, art, and Spanish. Next is the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade field trip to the Frost Museum in Miami, where students got to have fun experiencing science hands-on. Finally, 5th grade attended J.A. Biztown, where students were assigned jobs in different types of work atmospheres and had to put their months of study into full practice as they spent a day in this model town.
